Boats and Boats: Brabus and Axopar comes together to launch the BRABUS Shadow 800

“If you have to ask me how much it costs, you can’t afford it”. Far from being nice, this expression, however, successfully reflects what Brabus thinks about its corporate philosophy. The Dusseldorf-based company is indeed the recognized world leader in luxury and performance car optimization, partner of various world-class car manufacturers including, first of all, Mercedes. Highly quality and high prices represent together the hallmark of Brabus which can count on five modern factories and a multitude of flagship stores in Dubai, London, Düsseldorf, China and California.

Now, Brabus celebrates an exciting alliance with another extraordinary brand, the Finnish boat builder Axopar Boats OY, with the launch of the Brabus Shadow 800. Boasting a hull of little more than 11 meters, highly aggressive lines and colours, the boat, presented in worldwide première at the Boot Düsseldorf, is not a “one-off” or a mere styling exercise but could be the start of a new, strategic relationship between the two luxury brands.

The synergy established between Axopar Boats Oy design know-how and Brabus talents with this first unit sounds like the prelude to a long-term alliance since the two companies have decided to invest in a new high-tech production site based in Bottrop, in mist-west Germany. There, the whole future luxury Brabus/Axopar range will be produced and will include boats up to 45 feet in length.

Based upon the same underwater lines as the Axopar 37, the Shadow 800 is designed to be used as a superyacht luxury tender and, of course, for not going unnoticed.
